At the beginning of the epidemic, we helped many customers export masks, both medical and non-medical, with different export standards and requirements for different types of masks. In the early days of the epidemic, many medical masks were exported, and the corresponding domestic and foreign standards were very high. We have also seen customers, masks exported to a European country are obviously normal export, but after arriving abroad, they are not only inspected and detained, but also have to pay high fines abroad, resulting in a loss of nearly one million RMB for a single order.

Gradually, as the epidemic situation eased around the world, fewer people exported masks, but many people still exported masks as a general trade commodity.

Should ordinary people wear masks during the pandemic? This is not a problem in China, where you may not be able to leave your community without a mask, and the lessons learned since the COVID-19 outbreak have made a small mask an unbearable lightness of life. But for overseas Chinese, they are somewhat "at a loss" on the issue of wearing masks, because it is generally believed that only the sick need to wear masks. As the pandemic has spread, the disparity has become even more stark, with officials, health agencies and medical experts in the West repeatedly insisting that healthy people do not have to wear masks, even as many have begun to wear them.

Fights over face masks have played out a lot in Europe recently. Earlier, an Italian MP was ridiculed for wearing a mask in parliament. He stressed in his speech that "wearing masks is for everyone's safety" and emotionally suggested that "if you were smart, you would have worn masks long ago". In Switzerland, a female mp was expelled for wearing a mask for "disturbing a meeting".

In Asia, the habit of wearing masks has also been linked to protection against pollution, pollen allergies and keeping warm in winter. In addition, wearing masks has become part of popular culture, with Japan famously known as the "maskhiji" phenomenon, Members of South Korean idol groups regularly wearing masks when traveling, as well as celebrity artists in China.

It is not easy to break the notion that masks are only worn by sick people in western countries such as the United States. But at present, China's epidemic prevention experience has begun to influence the US's view of epidemic prevention and control to some extent. When the severity of the epidemic continues to increase, The American people will voluntarily wear masks. "As the pandemic gets worse, attitudes towards masks in Europe will certainly change and more people will follow the lead of Asians in wearing masks.
