How the air purifier works

Air purifiers are mainly composed of motors, fans, air filters, etc.

1.Mechanical filtration type purification principle (filter purification class)

The main principle of mechanical filtration air purifier is that the air is pumped into the machine by the fan, and the air is purified by the built-in filter, which can filter the fine particles, dust, odor, harmful gas and bacteria in the air. The filter is mainly divided into, particulate filter and gaseous pollutant filter. Particulate matter filters are further divided into coarse filters and fine particulate matter filters.

The quality of the fans and filters of these products determines the effect of air purification, and the location of the machine and the layout of the room will also affect the purification effect.

2. Electrostatic purification principle (filterless type)

The principle of electrostatic air purifier is to ionize the gas with high voltage electrostatic field so that the dust particles are charged and adsorbed to the electrodes. This is a way to ensure both airflow and adsorption of particles. The biggest advantage of this type of product is that due to the low wind resistance can better control the noise level of the air purifier, while the dust collection unit can be repeatedly cleaned, without frequent replacement; but the defect is that there may be ozone emission exceeds the standard. (China's regulations in the residential environment, ozone concentration of more than 0.1ppm will constitute air pollution)

Electrostatic purification technology on the market are mainly high-voltage electrostatic dust collection, low-temperature plasma technology, plasmacluster technology, hydration ion, negative ion technology, etc.

3. Composite purification class

This kind of purifier is actually a product that combines mechanical filtration purification with electrostatic purification technology.
