Safety performance Requirements

In terms of safety, children's masks have stricter requirements than adult masks:

1. The mask should be able to cover the mouth, nose and jaw safely and firmly. There should be no sharp points and edges that can be touched, and it should not significantly affect the vision.

2. The raw materials of masks shall not use recycled materials or materials that may cause adverse reactions, and shall not be bleached with chlorine;

3. For masks with breathing valves, the breathing valves should be firm and not deformed, and the internal parts should not fall off; Lace-up mask straps should not be used; Nose clip should withstand 20 fold in half without fracture;

4. The inner layer of the mask should not be printed or dyed, and the printing pattern of the outer layer of the mask should not fade. It is forbidden to decompose carcinogenic aromatic ammonia dyes;

5, formaldehyde content is not higher than 20mg/kg, ethylene oxide sterilization residue shall not be higher than 2μg/g;

6. No transferable fluorescent whitening substances shall be detected, and microbial indexes shall meet the requirements of disposable sanitary products.

The national standards provide clear safety warnings for the use of masks for children:

1. Children should wear masks under the care of adults, who should observe and educate children to wear masks correctly;

2. Children should not play roughhouse or exercise with moderate or above intensity during wearing masks. Breathing valve and internal parts of breathing valve should not be removed.

3. If respiratory discomfort or skin irritation occurs during wearing, take off the mask in time and seek medical advice immediately if necessary;

4. Masks should be replaced in time. It is not recommended to reuse masks after washing.

5. Masks are not recommended for children with breathing difficulties. Remove objects that have nothing to do with wearing the mask.
